Edit: Leslie, the office manager reached out to me today and was very helpful. Explained the situation and was able to offer me some help and advice. I really appreciate the prompt response. Usually you don't get any correspondence after posting a review but it's clear that this office wants to provide good service to their patients and that's all you can really ask for. Sad I have to give this place 1 star because the care and service was really good. I was told at my appointment I was out of network. Being a broke college student I asked how much would my out of pocket be because I can't afford to pay a whole lot. They reassured me multiple times it would not be more than $60 even with flouride. The other day I got a bill for $200+ and when I called to discuss they said there was nothing they could do other than a payment plan. They really should have said they didn't know or would need to run an estimate.. I would have cancelled or rescheduled. Definitely would have cancelled had I known it was going to be $200+. Also, important to note - I sent them my insurance card before my visit to avoid something like this. Really really disappointed.

They are the best and wonderful group.Dennis that I have ever been to. They explain The process And for me not to be afraid. They answered any question I needed answer. If I could give them higher than a 5 star.I would the assistant, Love her and She made me feel so safe and secure five stars for your office

I am very grateful that Dr. Winner and her staff allowed me to get in to their facility this past Tuesday and were able to diagnose and order medication to treat a very painful and fairly serious infection. I would like to acknowledge the support and help given to me by Lela upon my arrival, during, and leaving your spacious facility. A special “job well done” by Lela during my visit. You, the doctor, and the whole staff took me in when no one else, including my current dentist, were of no help to me in my time of need. Thanks very much for your care and understanding.

Everyone in the office is super friendly.Dr. Winner is wonderful. She is smart, compassionate, explains everything and respects my choices. Because my teeth have required so much attention throughout my life l've known more dentists than I can count. Dr. Winner is the best! Great office, my highest recommendation.

I had a cleaning appt today 10/31/2024 with Janet. She is the only dental hygienist I allow to clean my teeth. She is funny, caring, and really enjoyable. I always look forward to seeing her. I've been coming to Polaris Family Dental forever. I've gotten to know Janet very well and she is the absolute best !! Thank you Janet 😊

Polaris Family Dental was where I went for years, but I stopped going because I moved to the other side of town. I broke a tooth the day before yesterday and my new dentist couldn't get me in for a week. I called them and they got me in first thing the next day and took care of me. I got a crown, and I'd forgotten how good they were at pain management, I didn't feel a thing. Updating my entry a year later now. I just went for a root canal this time. Again, they were able to take me as soon as I was able to get there. Again, in and out with no pain. Polaris Family Dental's staff are very friendly and skilled.

As always, my visit was FABULOUS! I've been a patient with Polaris Family Dental for more than three years, and I have to say I believe it's the best dental office in the Columbus area. The staff are caring, professional, and there are smiles at every station and around every corner! I always leave with a smile!

Is it possible to say I LOOK FORWARD to my dental cleanings at Polaris Family Dental? 🙂 From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the most beautiful saltwater fish tank and a friendly staff person who quickly checks you in. Janet has been my dental hygienist since I started there and she’s the fantastic. I see Dr. Winner who gives me the exam and she’s brilliant! I’m so well cared for, I have no reason to ever go anywhere else.

Very nice place-friendly- I’m a new patient and they got me in quickly told me exactly what was going on with my tooth and what the plan of action was. I knew exactly what my cost was and knew that my next visit would take care of my root canal and a crown is also made here in store!! Which is phenomenal for busy people. I was told if I have any pain etc before my appointment I can call or text anytime!! Which is not only rare but makes me feel like someone cares. I am so happy to be a patient and will be forever. Thank you PFD!!

Practice has been really good. However, today I was very disappointed in lack of communication as to why I was being referred to specialist. I had to really dig and ask specific questions until I got my answers. Patient care also means good communication and this time there was only a referral and no further discussion. O am questioning if I should continue with this practice based on lack of communication.

My husband and I were very nervous about going to the dentist. The staff at Polaris Family Dental are fantastic! We have felt so welcomed and accepted. They are kind and take the time to answer your questions and make you feel confident about your dental health. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist!

Today was my second appointment with Dr. Winner and Hygienist Christy, they served me so well. I'm 100% satisfied with my cleaning and then comprehensive exam by Dr. Winner, she's so pretty and her way to deal patients is so beautiful. Also wants to mention I loved the clinic, the clinic itself is so neat & clean and beautiful atmosphere, I felt so peace. Highly recommended.

We had a new dental assistant today, both my husband and I. She was absolutely wonderful. She did an amazing job cleaning our teeth and interacting with us. The Doctor had an emergency, so they were doubling up. And she had to clean my husband’s teeth then mined. Which was no problem at all, but she was so professional and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit.

My daughter and I were patients of Dr. Gottlieb in 1992 before she created Polaris Family Dental . We have been pleased with the service and treatments we received over the years. The staff and associates have been professional and welcoming. Under Dr. Winner's leadership, the team has grown and continues to earn my confidence and respect. I moved from Columbus to Cincinnati in 2019, and I choose to return to Columbus to receive dental care at Polaris Family Dental. I highly recommend them to children and adult patients.

Very friendly staff, they worked as a team, and at times of waiting I was provided with a nice cup of hot tea. So I sat in the chair, drinking hot tea and scrolling funny Tik Toks and watching the birds enjoy seed from the window bird feeder. They communicated with me with time frames of procedures. I was in for a cleaning and a crown today, so I was in the office for hours. The communication and the teamwork were impressive. If one was a little behind, another staff member would step in. A gal was training to learn the process of the making of crowns, and those guiding her were very patient and helpful. I felt at ease, and very comfortable..It was cool to be a part of someone learning a new skill. The office seems to be in tune with customer service, and making sure the customer is comfortable..and in the know and working together and learning from each other. I had a root canal from a cracked tooth, and was not looking forward to the process of getting a crown....But, I was able to relax between procedures and the staff checked in on me to make sure I was ok. I highly recommend Polaris Famiy Dental..

I was referred to Polaris Family Dental by three coworkers that stated they’ve been very happy with the dentists/ services provided there. I was unhappy with my current dentist, so I thought I would give them a try. Here is my review: Cons: None to truly mention. It’s a little far from home, but the pros have made it worth it. Pros: Dr. Winner & Shelby (sorry for calling you Shelly, lol) have been so incredibly helpful and supportive in getting me back to going to the dentist regularly! They walk you through everything that is going on with your teeth/gums (mouth), and they don’t make up extra ‘you’ll also need’ dental procedures to extract extra money from you. Overall: Highly recommend! My anxiety has gone down quite a bit and I’m hoping it stays that way. My teeth are heading in the right direction and feeling healthier with each visit! Thank you!

My crown came loose on a Saturday, I called the Polaris Family Dental emergency line and received a follow-up within minutes. The staff scheduled me for first thing on Monday morning. Taylor and Dr. Hernandez were helpful, thorough and friendly - as were Leslie and the front desk staff. I am very appreciative of the support and care provided by Polaris Family Dental.

Love this office. Staff is very nice. We have been going here for several years now. Talked my husband into changing over too and he is happy he did. They even have an emotional support puppy in training. Billing is always on point as we have dual ins. And they do have several days with after 5pm hours.

I’ve had 3 exceptional Dentists in my lifetime! Dr Parish(Bexley) retired Dr Colosimo(UA) retired One month ago had a visit to a new dentist that I was searching for dental work! From the moment I walked in the office! The smiles & Extreme professionalism was refreshing! Every assistant there from cleaning to crowns was a Comfort to sit in that chair! Dr. Emrick’s precise timing protocol and procedure on a crown was So comfortable! I fell asleep while waiting for the crown that was actually made there on site within the hour!!!!!! As always the social conversation while sitting in the chair was great! Special added feature! TV mounted on the wall and on the ceiling while work is being performed! Obviously Dr. Emrick(Worthington) will be my third dentist in my lifetime to care for my Dental needs🦷 Jim Joffre(Westerville Ohio)

My big guy Walter was in need of some serious dental care. Due to some previous bad experiences with dental treatment, he was petrified to go to the dentist that is until he met Dr. Winner. She listened to him and what his concerns were all the while by reassuring him that she’d do her best to keep him comfortable during each and every procedure. I also owe gratitude to her knowledgeable office and support team who went the extra mile in explaining plan of treatment, insurance and billing. Thank you all for your service!

We always have an amazing experience at Polaris Family Dental. Today was no different, my youngest son was worried about having his teeth cleaned and he was laughing at the end of the appointment. They are patient, kind, and informative. When my oldest needed his teeth worked on, the dentist was telling him that they were hunting for bugs and he giggled the whole time. We would highly recommend! They are great with kiddos and extremely good at their jobs.

Top shelf! This was my first experience at the dentist since moving here from Florida last year, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Upon my arrival for my 2 o’clock appointment, Leslie greeted me at the counter and checked me in, Renee took me back to the surgical suite and confirmed with me the reason for my visit and prepped me for my scheduled, single extraction. After having asked Renee what the cost for an additional extraction would be, Leslie provided a print out of my portion of cost out-of-pocket after insurance. Very affordable. Let’s do it! Dr. Hernandez and D.A Taylor performed both painless extractions professionally in less than an hour. Following the procedure, Taylor went over the post procedure do’s and don’ts and Dr. Hernandez provided me with my prescriptions. After a courteous receptionist billed me out I was down the road. Top shelf! Thank you to everyone at Polaris Family Dental for making what could’ve been a complete train wreck a pleasant experience. “I’ll Be Back”….. in my best Arnold Schwarzenegger voice. This place is so amazing! I never thought I would say that about a dental office because I’ve been so terrified for years. I had an emergency on Saturday and had to leave work early. They got me right in and went right out of their way to put me at ease. The staff and dr. Hernandez was absolutely magnificent! My teeth are a hot mess. I know this but I was not made to feel embarrassed or shamed at the state I had let them get to. I’m never going any where else and I’m bringing my entire family here in the future!

This place is amazing! I had a dental emergency over the weekend and had to leave work. They fit me right in. I’m also terribly afraid of the dentist and the Dr. And staff went out of their way to put me right at ease. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office in years! My teeth are a hot mess because I’ve been afraid to go for so long but I wasn’t shamed or made to feel bad because of the state I had let myself get to. I’m never going anywhere else and neither is my family!

I relocated recently to Indiana. I was very concerned about finding a new dentist because Dr Winner and Polaris Family Dental did such a good job taking care of my teeth. I had gone there for many many years. The new Dentist I found in Indiana was very impressed with the condition of my teeth and the work that had been done by Polaris Family Dental. This says a lot about Polaris Family Dental. I will really miss them. If you need a dentist, I would highly recommend Polaris Family Dental!

I had a very painful gum infection. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of what was going on. They got me in the next day, They always made sure me being comfortable and not feeling pain was priority. They took such good care of me, got me out of there in a timely manner. The infection is gone and I would recommend to anyone! Truly a great atmosphere and great staff

I love going to Polaris Family Dental. Dr. Hernandez was excellent at treating my cavities. He was also really good with numbing. I could barely feel any pain. The office was very clean. Lesli and Robin were very welcoming and kind to my mom and I. I highly recommend everyone to see them for your dental needs.

This was my first dental appointment in a while because of quarantine. I was not looking forward to it. The people here are fantastic. They go out of their way to keep you comfortable, explain what's going on, and answer questions. They also have great equipment on hand. Most things can be wrapped up in one day instead of multiple visits. I would recommend them highly.

Dr. Winner has gone above and beyond for my son. She really has put a lot of time thought and care into his treatment. He has had several issues where he needed to be seen by other professionals and she put together the best team possible for him keeping in consideration his anxiety and past experiences. I am so greatful!

accepts my insurance. updates me on appointments via text and phone. works with me on scheduling appointments. asks my opinion on plan of care being proposed. the staff is also friendly and asks how im doing in general (not dentistry, just as a person)before i leave or how im doing with the last visits work. both are great. you dont feel like this is just work as usual. i highly recommend this business for the dentistry but also the care they display.

So thankful to have found Polaris family dental! Late one night I shattered my front tooth. They were able to get me in the same day that I called and I walked out that evening with a crown that looks identical to my tooth that shattered! When I arrived at their office, I was in a lot of pain and so worried my smile wouldn’t ever go back to normal. Dr. Winner and all of her staff we’re so calming and reassuring throughout the entire experience. Don’t hesitate to book an appointment here!

I just got dental surgery today (dental extraction) and I came in EXTREMELY anxious. I’ve had very bad experiences with Dentist before getting procedures done, but let me tell you this place is AMAZING!!! They are so kind and gentle and they made sure before the surgery I was at as and comfortable. Even with all the pressure from having my tooth pushed on, I felt no pain or discomfort at all. Dr. Jaclyn and the staff with her were phenomenal!!! Thank you very much for making my experience a good one.

This dental office was the nicest, most affordable dental office I’ve ever been to. They treated me as if I was the only patient in the office. I had an appointment yesterday for a tooth that had some movement. Could not believe how attentive to detail they were to safety... front door open so no touching handles...had me wash my hands with disinfectant... took my temperature through air gun equipment...when started exam had me rinse mouth with hydrogen peroxide... dressed appropriately. Good news as tooth movement within the standard for a man my age. You get an A+ ... I felt very safe .... Thanks Pete Kienle

When you walk into Polaris Family Dental you are greeted by a friendly person at the front desk and a dazzling "Finding Nemo"-inspired salt water fish tank. So cool! They recently renovated the office, so everything feels modern, inviting and pristine. I was promptly seen by Dr. Winner. She is the BEST! So kind and warm and friendly. She discussed all the options with me and we came up with a plan for a perfect smile. The rest of the staff is equally as kind and welcoming. Bring your family to Polaris Family Dental! Just let me say that if I received the same level of care that your office has provided to me recently when I was growing up, I know I would not need the amount of attention today. Being in my third trimester I was quite uncomfortable laying back to have my teeth cleaned. My tech was so patient with me. I was able to lay more on my side during the cleaning with breaks when I needed them. All I needed was a pillow between my knees and I would have been all set. Thank you for working with me!

I cannot say enough good things about the Polaris Family Dental team. Every experience I’ve had over the past several years has been excellent. When you first walk in the door, they make you feel right at home. My hygienist (Christine) is so kind and understanding. Anytime I’ve needed to have work done, Robin has been reassuring and talks me through what she’s doing. I feel very anxious going to the dentist and really appreciate their patience with me. I’ve been a patient here for 20 years and have never considered making a change. I appreciate this practice and the lengths that they will go to make their patients comfortable. My entire family has been coming to Polaris Family Dental since Dr. LInda started at the Morse Road location in the 1980's. The transition to Dr Winner and staff has been seamless and the excellent care continues. Several years ago we moved to a farm in the country and don't mind the hour drive because of the trust and history we have with them. I highly recommend them!

I was with Dr Linda for over 30 yrs and was sad when she retired. I am not a fan of going to the dentist - probably many of us are not! But for me, it’s a day full of anxiety and fear! Let me say - from the very first phone call and up until the time I left the office - I had the most excellent care and positive experience! Had a great experience today. Went for a cleaning and whitening when I mentioned that I would like to fix a chipped tooth and a cracked filling. They were able to take care of all this today also. I was so happy. It was the first time in 21 years that anyone other than Dr. Linda had worked on my teeth so I was a little hesitant. OMG Dr. Winner is great and I had no problem at all. They were so professional and I am thrilled with the results.

I found this place by searching on Google for a new Dentist and reading all of the positive reviews, I'm really glad that I did. Every member of the staff that I interacted with was extremely kind. I was overdue on cleanings and worried about what my experience would be like. The team made me feel very comfortable and they explained in detail on how they would clean my teeth and why. Talking about my experience with my wife even has her excited to switch over on her next cleaning.

Janet was awesome...one of my best experiences I've had and I've been coming for 33 yrs. She was friendly, attentive, and knew exactly what I needed as a patient because she read up on my chart before I got there. I have since requested her for every visit. When Dr Winner came in she also was very attentive ,friendly, and interested in my needs moving forward. I"ve been going to Polaris Family Dental my entire life - almost 40 years. I always liked Dr. Gottlieb and the staff, but considered changing dentists when Dr. Gottlieb retired because I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to find a dentist that's more convenient for me and closer to my home in Pataskala. However, I kept a scheduled appointment and saw Dr. Winner and was very impressed. I've now seen her 2-3 times and am very happy with her and the improvements that have been made to the office. Dr. Winner is very efficient, honest and nice. I'm also glad that some of the staff has stayed since Dr. Gottlieb retired because they are awesome! I would recommend Polaris Family Dental to anyone!

The best dental practice in town. My entire family and I have been seeing Dr Winner and her staff, they are very friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to help and explain.
